Photoshop is crashing when using the quick selection tool in a very large file.  I have posted about this several times and marked the problem "solved" only to find it reoccur.  I have followed the instructions on how to solve this including updating graphics drivers and using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove and reinstall Photoshop. The file is 6 GB and approx. 70000 px x 11000 px.  I have been asked multiple times why I need such a huge file:  The actual size of the subject is approx. 50 ft. x 8 ft. and it is feasible that it could be printed at that size; it contains lots of detail and if viewed up close should be sharp (it would be approx,. 150 ppi if printed at actual size).  I have no issues using other tools in this file, including clone stamp, transform, or spot healing brush.  The file opens and saves fine and I can work within it as long as I want to EXCEPT when I start using quick selection tool, then it crashes.  I was told to include links to my other posts. They are:

If anyone has thoughts on why this might be happening and what to do to correct it, I would appreciate it.
