Photoshop CC 2015 has a bug that causes it to crash ever time I try to change the font. I have replicated the issue at least 10 times and it is incredibly frustrating.

Hi Bridget,

Sounds like you have a bad font.  Here are the steps that should solve your problem.  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop-cs5.html

I would love to know which one fixes it as well as what OS you're running on.

Thanks,
David

I did this and all 719 fonts failed. I'm running Windows 8.1 Enterprise OS.

That probably means that one of the OS font caches is corrupt and needs to be reset.

Hi Bridget,

Particularly since you failed Step #5, can you try Step #6 and delete all your font caches?  Info for Win8 is here: http://superuser.com/questions/561856/windows-8-pro-font-cache-issue

I've a feeling, after you do this, if you rerun the script, you'll be good.  If not, then one of your fonts is not like the others...in other words, bad/corrupt and triggering the problem.  You can modify Step #8 to find it, though this is rarely an issue on Windows.

Thanks,
David
