As the title says, Photoshop keeps coming up with the message "Could not complete the command because of a program error" when I attempt to paste frames on top of each other in Timeline and I can't work out how to fix it. It's super frustrating and looking at solutions already around they either don't work or I don't understand them. I don't use Photoshop professionally so I'm not very well-versed with how it works. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me out!

Is this only when pasting frames on the Timeline? Or do you get that error just starting up Photoshop or doing other commands?

If just with the timeline, is this the issue you're seeing? https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/frame-paste-over-selection-command-fails-if-p...

If so the workaround is:  Go to Preferences->Performance and enable "Legacy Compositing" and restart Photoshop
