Photoshop: Vector line work and a Transform tool button

I have 2 ideas for additions to Photoshop.. 1. Vector brush for creating freehand line art, without the blocky edges. I use Photoshop mainly for digital painting, and I can't afford both Photoshop and illustrator. So I tried using a program called Inkscape, but it's a bit complicated. Wish pshop had that ability maybe a plug in even? 2, Free Transform button. I know pressing T on keyboard does it, but I mostly use Photoshop on my surface pro, and it's a pain having to connect a keyboard to it when traveling etc.. so to avoid that, I have to go to Edit, and scroll down to Free Transform, which is cumbersome to do, especially on a moving bus for example. I always wondered why there isn't a button on the side menu for quicker access on the left side panel, or at the top. Even as an optional button that you can put there manually like the others.
