I'm not sure I completely understand what you are asking for. Do you want to associate DNGs with a different application from Photoshop? Or different version of Photoshop than CS6? What OS/version are you on?

All raw files, including DNG, need to be opened through the Camera Raw plug-in. There isn't a way to bypass going through it. You can however suppress the Camera Raw dialog where you make adjustments and apply the default settings or whatever settings are currently applied by holding down the Shift key.

Hold Shift...from within Camera Raw or Bridge? What about from just within PS itself: File > Open Recent (for example). How can you suppress Camera Raw (bypass it) opening files that way? Thanks.
