Photoshop freezing when editing shapes

I've been having this problem since one of the most recent updates (Photoshop CC 2019 for windows 10). Sometimes, when I try to select vector points on a shape, photoshop freezes for a few seconds and either errases the vector point or  just wont let me edit the curves.

I've been trying to overcome this by minimizing and reopening the window, which seems to work, but it's annoying since it happens every few seconds.

Oh, and today I updated photoshop again, but the issue is still there.

Sorry, no answer; just commiseration.  Same here plus my brushes freeze for over a minute before I can proceed.  Driving me nuts; it takes so long to get anything done.   I keep thinking the next update will fix all this, but it hasn't happened yet.

Howdy Eliézer and D,

Could you share your system setups with me?  What you're encountering is not normal and I'd like to get to the bottom of it.  We're NOT seeing this freezing in-house, so there's some element missing.

What other apps do you have open?  What other actions are you taking?  What kinds of things are you doing in PS before this happens?  Third-party plugins?  Scratch drive space?  Are you using a tablet?  Which kind?

Thanks,
David
