When I select more than one photo (3) in Bridge then ask to transfer them to Photoshop layers then photoshop freezes and is unresponsive. The photos show in layers on the Photoshop workspace but I then have to use the task manager to end the Photoshop application. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly?

Chris.
Sorry about the tardy. I'm away from my Photoshop computer for the weekend. I have creative cloud and recently updated everything. Photoshop is 2014 version, Lightroom is 7.7.1 and Bridge 6.0.1 I believe.

I use windows 8.1.

Are you selecting 3 images and just double-clicking to open them? Or are you running a process from Tools>Photoshop> menu like Load Files into Stack or Image Processor?

I have selected 3 images simultaneously in Bridge by using the shift key on the second and third. Then under tools>photoshop there is an item for loading the images into Photoshop each in its own layer all as one document. That's how I was doing it. I am not at the correct computer to say the exact menu item name but "layers" is in it.
