Photoshop forces itself over other windows (Mac)

When running Actions, Photoshop (since CC 2015.1) forces itself to the front of the window stack on the current Desktop, making it virtually impossible to get work done on the machine while an Action is supposedly running in the background.

Even if I assign Photoshop to a separate Desktop (using Mission Control in El Capitan) and navigate to a different Desktop, the batch windows still pop up over windows in the active Desktop. This is hugely annoying.

Please respect Apple's guidelines for native Desktop / window use, for the benefit of your users. It would also be beneficial if it was possible to run Actions in "blind mode", ie without windows being visibly opened at all.
