I NEED to use a font ON my system for a t-shirt design but EVERY TIME I type the name of the font into the font drop down list, I ALWAYS get a  "no matches found" message despite that I see that font in my fonts in control panel!!! I googled the problem but NOTHING came up!!! THERE SEEMS TO BE NO INFORMATION REGARDING PHOTOSHOP NOT SHOWING A SPECIFIC FONT LET ALONE ANYBODY ELSE WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!

The font file may be corrupt, or the OS font cache might be corrupt and preventing the font from loading.

Photoshop uses any fonts loaded by the OS, but won't load fonts that are corrupt, and can't always see the fonts if the OS doesn't make them available (which tends to happen when the OS font cache is corrupt). See this page for font troubleshooting:  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop-cs5.html

Also, you still need to get that stuck SHIFT or CAPS LOCK key fixed on your keyboard, or use a new keyboard.
