Photoshop: Ability to adjust the opacity & blending modes for each applied filter effect in Filter Gallery Plug-in

It would be nice if when layering different gallery effect filters, if you could also adjust the opacity and have blending modes for each applied filter effect.

It would be even nicer, if the filtergallery had filters and a user-interface that were made in this millenium. Okay, sorry, the UI is even from 2003....., but filters are about 20-25 years old.

I think they gave us the Filter Gallery, then gave up. I know many of us asked for blend modes and opacity from the very beginning. I'm of a mind that they've never known what to do with the Filter Gallery because the filters in it were so old to begin with, so they've essentially done nothing. The Filter Gallery was both a new lease on life for those old filters (used in so many actions) and their last gasp.

At this point, they would be competing with some rather powerful 3rd party filters, and I guess they don't want to modernize. I almost never use the Filter Gallery as a result, when back in the last millennium I used them often.<sigh>
