Hello community...I am new here and am seeking some advice.
Every time I try to open the file in Adobe photoshop CC I get 2 error messages 1. Sorry, An error occurred 2. File-format module cannot parse the file.
Steps taken so far:
  1. I have repaired re-installed Photoshop
  2. tried opening in older versions
  3. did an update from Adobe site
Anyone see this before?
Thank you in advance.

I assume tried opening in older versions means that the older versions can't open the file.

Can you see the file outside of Photoshop in File Finder (MAC) or File Explorer(Windows)? Does the file size look reasonable? Is there another app that can open the file?

What OS? Windows? Mac? What version?

What is the file extension: jpg, png, cr2, etc.?

If you'd like, I can take a look at it and see if I can open the file.  Email it (unzipped!) to david *dot* mohr <at> adobe (dot) com.
