PLEASE HELP! I'm working on a file for school and I was almost done. I continuted working on it at school, where I found out they have a newer version of Photoshop (I have CS3 on a MacBook 10.10.4). When I then tried to open it at home it says "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I thought it was bc I saved it with the newer photoshop but to my horror it doesn't work on any of the computers at school either! We have computer technicians at our school but they haven't been around for 2 days and I really need to send in my project ASAP. I really hope someone knows how to fix it. Thanks

Yes, going to older versions does run the risk of the file not always being readable.

Did you install all the updates for Photoshop CS3 -- I know there were some file format bugs in the initial release that were fixed in a dot release.

Unfortunately I don't have an instant solution -- the cause could be any number of things (down to missing fonts or color books on one system).

I will try that but the problem is not just on my computer it also doesn't work with the newer photoshop on the schoolcomputers. Anyhow, I will try updating, hopefully it will work bc the Adobe programs were downloaded/transfered from our school computer to my home one.
