Photoshop Eyedropper very innaccurate

Trying to use the eyedropper on raster image and getting not accurate results. In the following video, I'm using the eye dropper for Blending Options > Stroke, but I tried just the normal tools palette eyedropper and same problem.

Across the board, the eyedropper just isn't giving me accurate results at all in PS CC 2014.

Recently been getting strange results from the Photoshop eyedropper. PS CC 2014.2.2 Release, 20141204.r.310 x64, OS X 10.10.3

Double check your tool settings, and make sure the eyedropper is sampling the area (or pixel) that you think it is. Forgetting that you had the eyedropper set to a larger area is a common issue.

Your demo shows that you are sampling a 5x5 area, while expecting to get a value from a line a single pixel wide...
