Hi Julie,

Here is a link for Troubleshooting problems with Adobe Exchange extensions etc. I've found this very helpful in the past and I hope it helps you.

Thank you Rosa, I went through it and it didn't help me.  The things I downloaded are not where they are supposed to be.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it tells me they are already downloaded after I uninstalled them.

Then it says to uninstall it and I have no clue where it is.  The only way for me to uninstall it is to do it through the exchange but that is not working.

Julie - do you mean the uninstall/install button is not working on your Exchange page? ....... or is the page not working?

To uninstall your extension you need to go to your Exchange page, that is where you'll find your extension.

Close all Adobe applications and reinstall your extension.

Next to the extension there should be an Uninstall button to remove the extension. Wait for the button to change to install and click to reinstall the extension.

Hopefully someone can help you with this issue. I've found another link for Add-on problems

Thanks, I take a look at that link also.

I did go to my exchange page and uninstall them, but when I download them again and use the 3rd party installer it tells me they are already installed and to uninstall them.  How can I uninstall them if I can't find them, apparently the exchange is not uninstalling them.

I'm not sure what's happening there Julie. Usually I get a notification from CC App when I first open up Photoshop that such and such extension has been added, or if I removed one through my Exchange page I get a notification for that also.

Have you received any of those notifications at all?

You might need to log out and in from the CC app, if you haven't already.
Also, if you're using the Anastasiy extension manager, you'll probably need to contact them for tech support.

Thanks, I am using Anastasiy and no, I did not log in and out.  I will try that.

Okay, I logged in and out of CC and restarted PS after installing extensions.  It is a CC issue, not Anastasiy.  I never receive any notification that the file downloaded, and when I go to look for the file where it says it should be it is not there.

It's frustrating, I don't know what else to do and you and Rosa are the only ones who have tried to help me.  I posted this last week and someone deleted it so the staff is not helping.

Julie,

Just maybe, there may be a problem with the Anastasiy extension manager. .

Perhaps try and download the current version which I noticed that he just recently fixed compatibility issues with CC 2019.

Maybe try that, just to eliminate if the extension manager is a problem?

I don't believe that is the problem, when I download the stuff it shows it is downloaded in Exchange.  However, I never get a notice as you were talking about and the files are not where the developer says they should be.

This is the only reason I downloaded the extension manager.  So the problem I believe has to do with CC.

But none the less I will try the newer version. I would think I have it as I only downloaded it a week ago.

Thanks for the link and all of your help Rosa, I appreciate it!

You CANNOT use Extension Manager, it is obsolete. Delete it from your computer. Extensions are ONLY installed via the website/CC app.

Extensions can be auto-install or manual, depending on how the developer sets them up. There should be instructions on the website and a link to manually download.

Thanks,

I didn't download the extension manager until it didn't work via Adobe exchange.  Adobe exchange is where it said to download the extension manager and it gave me the link.

So they need to update their site because I knew nothing about extension managers until I read it on their site.  Besides I'm convinced it is CC and not the extension manager.  I didn't install that until after many tries of finding this stuff on my own.

I also went through this whole page you gave me yesterday when Rosa posted it.  It also says to use the extension manager I used.

I give up, no one at Adobe wants to help with this and the three extensions I am trying to get must be obsolete because several others could not get them installed either.

Thank you very much Rosa and David for trying to help me.  I truly appreciate it!
