Elements SMB share MacOS (known MacOS bug)

Hi everybody, as mentioned in some posts PE doesn't have write access on SMB network home on Mac with Yosemite (10.8) whereas there is no problem with AFP network home directory.
In my school all students have a network home directory and, as Apple recommend, these homes are shared via SMB. Of course it's possible to save the documents on a AFP directory, but I just want to know if, by any chance, someone has found a workaround for this annoying issue ?

Thanks in advance for your help and answers

That is a MacOS bug in their SMB code. Apple is aware of this bug and says they are working on a solution.

Changing the file sharing protocol to something else is the only known workaround.
