Hi. I have just bought photoshop elements 12 (PC/MAC) for my macbook and installed it yesterday. The editor seems to have no problem opening, but when i click 'organizer' it crashes and says it 'may not be compatible with my system'. This makes no sense since editor opens without an issue. Help please?? I currently use iphoto for all my pictures and it's terrible so wanted this to be a new main photo organizer. Thanks

What OS version are you using?
What does the full crash report say?

Hey
It says 'Adobe Elements 12 Organizer cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Elements 12 Organizer works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updated for the application and Mac OS X.'

I am using 10.6.8

pls help!! thanks

OK, so it's not a crash at all. You are just getting a message about the OS being unable to open the application.

Yes, you probably need to uninstall then reinstall the application to repair the application.

Also, you should probably check your disk for any other damage. And we've also seen some "system cleaner" utilities mess up applications and the OS in the past (frequently requiring reinstallation of the OS to get things working again).

Thanks Chris. I've uninstalled it and installed it again but still the same problem. It did say upon installation that it recommends having OS 10.7 but there are no other available updates for my mac, i checked.
Do you know what else i can try? I didn't understand much about the 'system cleaner' utilities you mentioned :)
thanks again
