I've been using an old copy of Photoshop Elements 6 for several years, and suddenly tonight, after restarting my computer, it won't open, and I get this message:

"Registration Unsuccessful
A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet.

Please select one of the following options:
Try submitting the online registration again
Register Later (You will have to fill out the registration form again)
Never register"

I went to Photoshop Registration, and successfully registered, but I still get the same message.

I have a similar problem.I have CS3 installed on a desktop and laptop. They were both previously installed on older pcs. I successfully deactivated from the old PCs before installing and reactivating on the new ones. Now all of a sudden I am getting a Registration Unsuccessful error that has 3 choices: 1)Try submitting again (doesn't WORK), 2)Register later (you will have to fill out the registration form again) and 3) Never Register

The first doesn't work, the second does work but only closes the window. I cannot get to a registration page. I correctly and successfully installed, registered and activated this over a year ago! I chose the third on my other PC and then was no longer able to use the program! WHATS GOING ON!

I also get the "a problem occurred when trying to send information over the Internet"

I'm terrified of losing the use of my programs!
