Photoshop Elements: I purchased commercial fonts that have special characters or glyphs, I cannot use the "alt" function as described in the font and wondering if there is a special character or glyphs box somewhere to help me get these in my fonts.
I don't have a recent version of Photoshop Elements, but the manual doesn't say that it has the Glyphs panel we recently got in Photoshop. However, before Photoshop had a Glyphs panel, I could use the OS character viewer (still called Char Map on Windows? I've been on a Mac for a long time now), to select special characters. If I had an insertion point in my document, or a letter selected, I only had to double-click on a special character to insert it.
It's not as elegant a solution, but should let you use the special attributes if Elements supports all the type features.
