Hi, i'm a software developer and i'm also in charge of small graphical changes, mockups, apply graphics to software (sometimes they give me .psd files) and go on.

Since we don't use Photoshop a lot we decided to try Photoshop Elements and we're pretty happy about pricing/functionalities.

Sadly, Photoshop Elements cannot open groups layer (as you all know).

I feel like this software is "just a toy", it have tons of professional and cool functionalities but miss a basic one like grouping.

When doing mockup i have to try multiple solution for every piece of graphics so creating a group for every solution is basic and necessary; you just couldn't handle more than 300 layers without groups!

This limitation looks like a "necessary limit" to make the user feel frustrated and purchase a more expensive plan. But my company doesn't want to buy an annual plan for a software that could be unused for 2 or 3 months.

So i just have to live with it. Today Photoshop Elements 14 has been released, i quickly downloaded the trial version hoping in this feature but this "volountary problem" is still there.

I'm just a single user, but you can find tons people frustrated by this.

I just hope the more of those topic you will see the more we have a chance to see this extremely basic feature in future releases, i'd like to renounce to all PSE13 and PSE14 new features for that.

Thank you!

Bien cordialement
