Photoshop Elements 2019: Does not work with macOS Catalina.

Purchased PSE 2019 for Mac (disc) from Amazon.com.  Software installs on MacBook Pro running OS Catalina Beta (Consumer Preview), but individual components will not run. They start loading but do not complete the process.  Tried downloading the online version of the installer and behavior was the same.  Any ideas of a fix?

Hoping to see a "free" upgrade path to the next version for those who bought this year since Catalina has been announced for over a year while Adobe continues to sell PSE 2019 with no warnings that it will become obsolete in a matter of weeks.  I just received an offer YESTERDAY for a PSE / PE 2019 bundle!

Agreed. Bought PSE 2019 6 months ago and on Monday when Catalina is released it will no longer work!

Same problem. It doesn't seem possible Adobe can get away with this. To continue selling a product they know will not work for some machines and not offer a solution is beyond belief.
Come on Adobe treat us longstanding customers reasonably.

Still looking for a resolution. No company should sell a product with a limited use projection without informing the customer. There should be a free update to repair the 32-bit components. Any ideas of who we can contact about this issue. I was on hold with Adobe Customer support for over an hour and gave up!

Thanks Kieth. I'll try to get it working, but I'm done with Adobe after this. Adobe has just become too much trouble. A shame. It was a great company.

Will try when I install Cataina. Thanks, Marco.
BTW, I read on an Adobe Twitter post that if you simply update to Catalina (not clean install) from Mojave, PSE 2019 will work. Why all the mystery? And why isn't there clear guidance on this on the Adobe site? Try searching "PSE 2019 + Catalina". Nothing useful.

No, I did do the update to Catalina, and before it works fine. After update PSE19 didn’t work anymore.

Until I found this solution!

I tried the "so-called solution" described at the link posted above in Catalina and it does not work. Organizer opens up, as it did before attempting this so-called solution, but Photo Editor and Video Editor still do not load. So, useless "solution"" to me.

So far they've told me to either roll back the MacOS or to upgrade to Elements 2020 where they'll offer me a reduction of 20%.  I've replied that I would expect a free upgrade or a refund of the cost of elements 2019.  I've not had a response yet.

UPDATE:  I have been told by the support team that the only offer they are willing to give me is 20% off an upgrade to elements 2020.  This is completely unsatisfactory.

Takes a bit to learn, but cheaper, more complete than PSE.
