Photoshop Elements 13 Organizer crashes because of problem with insufficient programm memory

A problem I experience all the time:
1. When I am working on my MacBookPro (new 2015 Yosemite 10.10.5) in Photoshop Elements Organizer 13.0 - I am trying to put all my photo's together in 1 catalog
It's about 50.000 of photo's and video's now. I have all the data on a Seagate Backup Plus Drive 2T of memory.
2. After an hour of working or after leaving the computer unused for a while - Organizer stops giving a message that there is not enough programm memory and stops the programm... thus messing up my catalog etc.
I left my project for 2 months because I really got frustrated. Now I really want to solve this problem so I can continu. Who can help me on this problem??

In addition: no other programm crashes so it should be PSE.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled How to solve an Elements Organizer 13 problem that is never answered?.

I am struggling for about 2 months now with a problem of Photoshop Elements Organizer on my Mac. The programm continuously crashes because of insufficient memory but PSE is the only programm that causes the problem. So I really think the problem is within PSE 13 and not with mt Mac. I migrated aslmost 45000 photos from Iphoto to the PSE  catalog, but the catalog crashed already because of the memory problem and when re working everything it keeps on crashing... I don't get an answer on my problem from Photoshop and I am desperate how to solve the issue. Who can give me advise on this issue??
