Elements 13 Organizer changing dpi when exporting files

I have Photoshop Elements 13. When I export a photo from the organizer at a smaller size (e.g 3000 x 3000 pixels) the dpi increases too (e.g. 666 dpi). I am making a blurb book and they tell me this may cause problems. I don't see any way of changing the dpi output. Can I just ignore this? Or is there a way to change dpi so that it stays between 150 and 300 as recommended?

Hi Gail,

You may try exporting from Photoshop Elements Editor instead. There you have finer control over resolution/dpi of exported image.
Here's a kb article which will help you with the workflow. <https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/crop-resize-resample-photoshop-elements.html>

Hope this helps.

Thanks
