After Upgrading to Windows 10 Photoshop Elements 13 will no longer start. I click on the icon and nothing happens. I opened the Task Manager window and see the program appear briefly and then disappear. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Elements 13 and that has not helped.

Same story here. I just bought this program about six months ago and not it's worthless. I've been using their programs for a number of years but will be reluctant to in the future if they can't keep them working on the latest windows operating system. Adobe should fix this. At any rate, my old version, elements 10, still works for now.

I've had this problem as well. Fixed by converting to 32 bit program on my 64 bit laptop. Worked for a while but I'm back to nothing working with this program. I'm looking for another program, tired of fighting this battle with no support from Adobe.

We should not blame Adobe. The main responsability lies with Microsoft - Windows ought to work with such widespread programmes as Ph. elements / Lightroom. I also had to upgrade to Lightroom 5 since W 10 does not work with LR 4. I had done that anyway, but it irritates me that Microsoft obviously has the arrogance that since their programme is the marked leader - all other companies must just accept that as a fact. They could and should have had the respect for Adobe programmes and similar world leading software programmes - and their customers,  before they released the W 10. I find it ever so easy to quote Queen Victoria and her famous remark: "We are NOT amused".
I add: There is Room for improvement. No Moore but no Less.
