Elements 12: Saving problems with OS Yosemite

I upgraded to Yosemite Mac OS X and then upgraded Elements to 12. Now I have a saving issue where any image file from an attached removable drive cannot be saved as Elements claims it is locked (or I don't have permission). I have checked and the permissions of the files are correct and unlocked and I c an edit the same file with other image programmes. It only happens with Photoshop elements. Is this a known bug? Can you help me?

QQ - Try creating a new Admin user account and run Elements from the new user account to see if the problem goes away: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Hi Jeffrey. I did as you said but permissions were still 'no' for anything from a removable drive. Should I reinstall PE 12?

I wouldn't do that yet. Another question: what are you external drives formatted for? OS X (Extended Journaled)? or something else?
