Photoshop CS6 is over 7 years old and was not designed to run on Catalina:

So, here’s the thing. To all the Adobe users that are not rent the software. Because Adobe no longer provides own license software any more. Please do not upgrade you Mac OS Catalina. Because the new OS does not support 32 bit software anymore. So, any old software that runs on 32bit, CS, CC6, Lightroom, or third party plugins will no longer work for the new OS. So, to everyone, in simple way of saying this. Your software will not work in the new OS. Here’s the articles:

Anyone who is running any kind of software should be cautious and aware that with Catalina those older versions will not run, ever. My experience and research so far is that for anyone using older versions of say for example Toon Boom Harmony, Storyboard Pro, Animation softwares, RekordBox....they will NOT work! For the most part these companies have been very diligent sending out emails warning Mac users not to update, check junk folders. Adobe has a whole section devoted to warning people about this,  users here have uploaded links to on this forum with workarounds for those who went ahead and didn't wait . Best case scenario is to uninstall Catalina so you can access your softwares but really at this point its a game changer and keeping current is probably a worthwhile transition. less of a headache.
