I have tried re-installation, tried compatibility mode and a lot of Google search. still no joy.
in every other places its showing 8GB installed physical memory even in Photoshop system info. But in the preference menu I can see that 100% use of the RAM is only about 3295mb. Thats roughly 4gb only. No I'm not running the 32bit verion of Photoshop by mistake. I'm on windows 10 Pro v1803 which is also 64bit. Everything was fine till yesterday. Please help...Thanks

I suspect it may not be the issue. For me, the issue is assigning 100% in the preferences. That leaves no room for the system to run. The default 70% is perfect.

Hi Sovon,

I have exactly the same problem.

Adobe engineers are working on this problem.

Apparently this calculation error is impacting a lot of areas, so it's likely that the calculation for available RAM was also impacted.
