I have CS3, CS4 and CS5 running on a clean installation of Yosemite. They were not, however, designed and nor extensively tested to run on this new OS. I don't recommend that customers upgrade to Yosemite without doing their own testing to ensure that it will work for their needs with their current hardware and drivers.

If it's not obvious, you should never upgrade your critical production environment before testing. Always use a separate partition or drive.

I also recommend that you do a clean install of the OS and your software. I see far too many issues introduced via upgrade and with user migration assistant. (like this one and other permissions related issue)

Possible issues you may encounter along with solutions:

How, exactly am I supposed to test Photoshop CS5 on Yosemite before I have Yosemite?
In my case, I want to get a new Mac Mini and it comes with Yosemite, but I need to know that Photoshop CS5 will work if I install it on the new machine.
I can't very well spend a thousand dollars on a new Mac to test whether I should spend a thousand dollars on a new Mac.

By using a separate partition or drive, like he said.
