Photoshop CC won't stay open for more than 5 seconds before it crashes. Can't change settings or anything.

How do I get a crash report???

Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop CC is crashing a lot on my system.

What OS/version are you on? Is Photoshop up-to-date? We just released 2014.2.2 on Wednesday: http://adobe.ly/PS-Up-To-Date

Win 7 Pro 64-bit, and it was updated. I just uninstalled and re-installed and the same problem exists.

I'm doing the Windows updates and driver updates as well. The video driver is up to date.

Post-update, Photoshop still crashes after a few seconds.

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I updated all Windows Updates, ran a check through the Dell site and installed another update from them (for the NIC), and rebooted.

After doing all of this, Photoshop will start but will crash after a few seconds. CC reports it as being updated.

Do you get a report with the faulting module? Updating the drivers from Dell won't give you the latest and greatest. Determine what video card you have and go *directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD)* and download the latest driver: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Okay, I went to the AMD site and downloaded and installed the latest graphic driver and chipset driver(s).

It looks like things are working now, thanks for your help!
