photoshop content aware changes in latest update

latest update has ruined "content aware"  I had to uninstall the latest update (21.0.8) and return to version 20.0.3.  I find that the recent changes were unnecessary and wasted much of my time trying to troubleshoot the problem. I see no reason for the changes, they did not make the task of editing using content aware any faster or easier.  it would have been nice if Adobe would have advised their users of this change!  On a related subject Adobe needs to address their method of contact for customer trying to seek assistance.  It took me several attempt to access this site continually  being asked for my user ID and password and attempting to answer the "Captcha" questions.  If you want me to choose the images with vehicles, chimneys, crosswalks etc at least provide images that one can see the items requested. Representing Photoshop I would expect a selection of better quality images!  If I sound a little annoyed, I am!

Amen on the providing images that one can see the items requested.  Adobe is in the image business isn't it". Or, maybe it was at one time.

What changes in particular you found unnecessary? Also, describe the problem you ended up trying to troubleshoot.

That's interesting because I found them very helpful. Of course, it took a bit to know what was going on, but once I saw that, choosing between the options has gotten me much better results. So what about the new options is ruining your workflow? What is happening that you can't simply use the options you're used to and ignore the rest?

And in case there's a bug—what OS are you using?  (BTW, I agree about that captcha thing and the truly lousy quality of the images—I don't think Adobe created the images for it, though. I'm pretty sure that's just the service they're using since I've seen the same elsewhere.)
