Photoshop compatibility with Windows 10

I updated two home PCs yesterday to Windows 10. I had processed some images from my Canon EOS 5DS R (50.3 MP) in the morning with no problems. After the update the computer kept running out of memory when attempting to run an action with Raw images including Smart Sharpening. I have found that virtual memory management is a problem currently with Windows 10 and this prevented sound from even working. The consequence is that the OS is constantly trying to optimize virtual disk memory and under performance you can see the disk access capacity is constantly maxed out. In PS, this results in 50x slower compilation times. There are a number of reports on this issue out there (138,000,000 for one Google search). What is needed on guidance is how to optimize PS and Windows 10 settings for very large files. I am using a 2.8 Ghz processor, with 8 Gb Ram, one internal 250 Gb HD with 150 Gb free space and two 5 Tb external HDs with more than 2.5 Tb free space.
