Photoshop closes every time I try to open or import a file. Adobe is doing nothing to help support their customer.

Will someone at Adobe PLEASE help me with the Photoshop that crashes every time I try to open a file. I've submitted the info via the report and issue when the software crashes. I've IM you via Photoshop on Facebook. I've posted on your Facebook page. Both times on Facebook you ask for the details and never get back to me. What do I have to do to get you people to support your product?! I guess it's ok to take my money and not do anything to fix your products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy Eric,

Let me see if I can help.  What version of Photoshop are you running?  On which OS?  Was this working earlier and just started to fail or has it ever worked for you?  Have you tried trashing your preferences?  Do you have this problem with ALL files or only certain ones?  Do those files include type?

That should get us started.  We'll get this sorted,

I've tried the last 6 rev and it will not work.  
Windows 10
Yes, it did work earlier but I don't recall the version. 
No, I've not trashed preferences
Have the problem with all files.
No type

Hi Eric,

Try trashing your preferences and see if that restores functionality.  You might have a corrupt file.

If that doesn't work, would you be willing to send me the file?  David (dot) mohr <at> adobe {dot} com
