Memory errors - ever since paying for and installing Photoshop CC2015 I more often than not get memory errors when I open any files with Photoshop. I am running Windows 10 with 16GB RAM ..... I'm guessing there is some type of memory issue with the windows version of Photoshop?? It just happened again and crashed the computer.

What do you mean "memory errors"?
What exactly are you seeing?

Anything that freezes, shuts down, or restarts the entire system is due to an OS bug, a low level driver bug, or defective hardware. Applications cannot cause those actions on a modern OS.

Funny these issues never happened with my Photoshop CS5.1 and only started since I installed Photoshop CC2015 while using Photoshop CC2015. A little more than coincidence. Of course I wouldn't argue that Windows10 couldn't be responsible for the issue - but isn't that for Adobe and Microsoft to resolve?

The usual error is something about 'please close other programs not enough memory' which is impossible. If I keep ignoring the warnings it I usually end up with a crash. Right after I posted this first message I received a new update for Photoshop CC2015 - I have my fingers crossed.

That error is from the OS, not Photoshop. Yes, if you ignore it things can go bad. And it means that the applications and OS are running out of space. Do make sure that you have the Windows paging file set to at least twice your installed RAM.

Make sure Photoshop is only using 70 to 80% of your RAM in Photoshop's preferences.

If you are using any third party plugins, try disabling them by launching while holding down the shift key.
