Photoshop CC: Selection Deletion bug

Hello all, I've finally figured out how to reproduce a bug I've been noticing for many years and through several versions of Photoshop.

If you make a selection with the selection tool, transform the selection, and then deselect part of the selection, photoshop deletes the section of the selection you have deselected. Since it's easier to show than explain, I have linked a short video showing what I mean below.

This problem has persisted across multiple versions of Photoshop (perhaps even pre-CC versions) and occurs on multiple platforms (PC/Mac). It's not a serious problem, but I just wanted to show this off and see if anyone else has noticed it. It took me a long time to figure out the steps to reproduce this error, but I've been dealing with it for years.

For me it is normal behavior, since the only right part is selected when you activate the deletion, try to select the 2 pieces before removing from the selection the second piece will be removed!

What did you expect when you chose the deselect tool that removes the part you are deselecting?

Watch this video, deleting the selected parts.
