I started having problems with Photoshop CC quitting unexpectedly. The only change I have made to anything on my computer is that I upgraded my MacOS Sierra to 10.12.3. Could anyone tell me how to get PS to stop quitting unexpectedly? Thank you.

I am having same config: PS CC2017 with Sierra 10.12.3 and having no problem.

Can you describe a bit more what happens. Do you have a massage from PS when it is crashing?
What kind of operation are doing when it crashes?
Is the crash repeatable?  I mean if it occurs each time you are doing the same operations
What kind of pictures you working with? Size - format (PSD ) TISS - JPEG)
Pleas send me also the system configuration that you can get when clicking on the apple then on about this computer

It happens randomly ... not always doing the same thing or the same operation and I get no warning ... just the above message pops up and PS closes.  I have clicked on the "report" every time it has happened.  It's so bad right now that I can't edit photos at all because before I get a chance to save frequently it closes on me.  I was assuming it was because of the Sierra upgrade but I don't honestly know what is causing it.  It just started a few days ago and I have done no other upgrades or installations of any kind.

Can you give me the technical specifications of your computer And the one of your LR catalog. Size of your images.

I can assure you that LR CC run perfectly with Sierra.

Michel ... Yes, I'm not having any issues at all with LR CC.  Problem was with PS CC. I have, however, found the solution.  Hold down Shift+Option+Command and while holding down, start PS. A message will come up asking to delete settings.  Say Yes.  This fixed the problem.  Be sure to save any custom brushes and actions first just in case.  My problem is solved.  Thank you so very much, Michel, for your help and advice.  Take care.

Jeff ... it just says Adobe Photoshop has Quit Unexpectedly and then the program closes.  I did, however, find the solution and I posted it above.  Thank you.

Sorry. If you click on Report, it should show you a full crash stack. That's what might help us. You should also get a second dialog from Photoshop's crash reporter. Please submit the crash with your email address through that.  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html
