couple of niggles , 1: when an object is selected in free transform, and i tap any arrow key on the keyboard to move the object very slightly (as possible previously) nothing happens, or if it does the opacity lowers instead, 2: i wrote out some text and emailed it to myself, i copied & pasted in Ps, random letters have become symbols, instead of letters.... like @ instead of “a” etc...

What OS/version are you running Photoshop on? For # 2, what email client were you using?

For 1) it sounds like the focus is on a different UI element while you're trying to nudge. In the case you describe, it sounds like the opacity field is also selected while you're in transform mode (hence the opacity changing). If you try and nudge and things don't work, hit the esc key once, then try to nudge.

dont know how opacity would be selected when i have the transform box showing around the object , then i tap arrow to nudge and usually nothing happens or sometimes opacity randomly changes..

Hi Jordan,

That's interesting. I'm not seeing this behavior on Win 10 with the latest version of Photoshop.

Would you try resetting your preferences and see if you're still seeing that behavior? If you have a lot of custom settings you'll want to make a copy of your preferences elsewhere on your machine so you can restore them easily.

Thanks,
Hannah
