When I use a tool on an enlarged image the image freezes and I can't get it to move unless I change tools. I tried resetting tools and uninstalling and reloading CC. What should I do?

What OS version?
Have you installed all the CC updates? (you should be on CC 2014.1)

Mac Yosemite Beta, CC 14.1.0 (trial) My PS CS5 works fine. I appreciate any suggestions. If I can't get it fixed I'll just stay with CS5.

What you are describing sounds like an event processing bug, or a video card driver bug.
But you are using a beta OS that has a lot of bugs in it (including many video driver issues) - so you probably should report this to Apple and let them investigate and hopefully get the issues fixed before 10.10 ships.

CS5 didn't make extensive use of the video card - so if there was a driver bug, CS5 is less likely to be affected.

As a temporary workaround, you can try disabling GPU drawing in Photoshop and restarting the app. If that helps, then the problem is almost certainly in the video card driver.

The closest I could find to a GPU was under "preferences" then "performance" and I unchecked "use Graphics Processor" I turned off PS CC and restarted the computer, the problem still exists. Is there somewhere else to disable the GPU? In the Air Force a GPU was a Ground Power Unit. I guess I could throw the houses main circuit breaker!

Graphics Processing Unit, the heart of your video card.
As opposed to the Central Processing Unit (CPU).

So it may not be the OpenGL portion of the driver - but it still sounds like a driver issue, and it isn't something we've seen in older OS versions (though MaCOS 10.9 does have some video driver glitches on some configurations).

Once any tool is used I can't change its size or move the image until I select another tool.
