Photoshop CC: Foreign Keyboard - Tools and other shortcuts don't work

I keep switching between Persian and English keyboard when using Photoshop 2015.1 English.

When the foreign keyboard is selected, tools shortcuts don't work and this put the workflow to a dead end! Ex. Zoom(Z), Selection tool(v), Magic Wand(w) nothing. Additional to tools, many other shortcuts also don't work. ex: Select/Deselect(ctrl+d), Transform(ctrl+t) etc.

The same scenario works fine in InDesign though, so I believe this is a Photoshop issue.

Any suggestions?!

Howdy Mohammad,

Sorry for the late response -- this topic didn't get to me until this morning.

What Operating System are you running?  What version of the Persian keyboard are you running?  Does it have Latin-based letters also associated with the keys?  I'm asking because I'm not seeing the slightest problem with the official Persian keyboard layout on Win10.  I tested every tool in the Toolbox (which includes Zoom, Move, and Magic Wand) as well as CTRL+A, CTRL+D, CTRL+T, etc.  Perhaps you ran into a random glitch?  I cannot find any problem with this functionality at all.

If your problem persists, please ping me via this thread and I can follow up with you.  But based on my testing, Persian (as well as Arabic and Hebrew) keyboards work fine.

Mam'noon,
David
