Photoshop CC Force closing after using the marque tool Mac (OS X 10.10)

Hello,

I'm a graphics student who bought Creative Cloud 2 months ago, last month I encountered a problem with photoshop where if I use the marque tool it just kicks me out of photoshop, then 5 seconds later my mac freezes and I have to restart.
Now I've encountered it again, after the recent update :(

This has nothing to do with my MacBook spec/hardware etc, cause it only happens in photoshop before anyone ask's!

I'm disappointed about this cause I need Photoshop daily for college work and for my spare time and without it, I cannot complete my work.

Do you get a crash dialog? If so, can you cut and paste the crash report here? (as well as submit it with your email address: http://adobe.ly/gNJWVY )

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Directions for sharing your system info from Photoshop:

If MacOS 10.10 is that unstable for your work, you may want to consider downgrading to a stable version of MacOS (10.8.5 or 10.9.5).

If the entire machine is freezing, then you're looking at an OS bug, a low level driver bug, or defective hardware. Applications cannot cause that behavior on a modern OS. In general, the most common cause has been bad RAM, but in MacOS 10.10 there are several known kernel problems that can freeze or restart the machine (such as thunderbolt or USB drives being unplugged), in addition to the video card driver problems plaguing many applications.
