Hello,

Im on OS X Yosemite with a Mac Book Pro.

I Get this problem everytime with Photoshop CC.

***Could not complete your request because of a program error.***

The bug is that when I Place embed lets say 2-3 times in a document. The program on the 4th gives me an error and never allows me to embed anything again. I have to save my current progress then Quit Photoshop and reopen it up again. I can copy layers from other opened photoshop files at the time but can PASTE anything into photoshop or embed anything. Also once it gives me that error I cant even open up another Photoshop file. Please help this problem has just become very annoying.

I also noticed that this problem exists even if im not using Photoshop. Lets say I just opened it up and have it open. 30 Minutes later I try to open up a PSD file to work on it and then try to embed the problem happends.

Are you getting that error in the OS open dialog? If so, that is a very well known bug in MacOS 10.10, and Apple is working on a solution.

When do you get the error? Is it while using the OS open/save dialog?

What exactly were you doing when you got the error?

And what does the PSErrorLog.txt file (in your Photoshop preferences folder) say?

OK, so that sounds like you are hitting it while using the OS open dialog - which would be the known OS bug mentioned earlier.

Quick Test: Try creating a new Admin user account and run Photoshop from the new user account to see if the problem goes away: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...
