I just installed Photoshop CC (on Windows 7) and when it comes up I get the message that it's stopped working and crashes. I don't think it sends a crash report.

Windows always sends a crash report to Microsoft. Then we can access it later.

Why are you using CC and not CC 2014?
And have you installed all the Photoshop updates?

What does the detailed crash report say (check the system event viewer or reliability reports)?
What exactly are you doing when it crashes?

I just installed CC yesterday. It says I'm up to date so I assume I am up to date. The only thing I'm trying to do is open up Photoshop CC for the first time. I had the Creative suite 5.5 installed before but I uninstalled Photoshop.

You are using CC 2014 already, not CC.

And as you can already see, your AMD/ATI video card driver is crashing.
Update the driver from AMD's website.
