Photoshop CC crashes on "print settings" on Windows 10

Photoshop crashes when I am printing and I select "printer preferences". I get a window popup that says: "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you is a solution is available" Photoshop closes and nothing happens after that. I am now running windows 10 but this happened in windows 7 once in awhile. I am printing to a Xerox 700i with a postscript driver. If I just print it works just fine but if I need to change printer settings Adobe crashes 100% of the time. Xerox chastised me for upgrading to windows 10 but I had the problem in windows 7 although it wasn't every time that it crashed.

When you click "print settings" you are going into the printer driver dialog, and the printer driver takes control. Also, most crashes like this are due to bugs in the printer driver code.

Check with Xerox for updated driver code.

Thanks Chris, even though Xerox told me otherwise, I downloaded the win8 driver and installed it. It seems to be working alright now and letting me into the settings window. I guess you can't always trust the advice you get from the official support.
