Today after working in photoshop for a bit, I stopped being able to open files and got the error "Could not complete request because of a program error." When I restart photoshop, the problem stops for a bit and then has come up again.

I am running photoshop CC on a Retina Mac Book pro Yosemite - 10.10.2

Error log output:

Does this happen in the OS open dialog (which has known bugs that could cause that on MacOS 10.10) or later?
Does this happen if you double click a file, or drag the file to the Photoshop icon?

No, the bug does not occur when you double click a file or drag it to the photoshop icon. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the OS open dialog.

OK, so you're probably hitting the known MacOS 10.10 bug (which is why none of the PSErrorLog details point to a file opening issue). Apple is aware of the problem and working on a solution.
If this is blocking your work, you may want to consider downgrading to a stable version of MacOS (10.8.5 or 10.9.5).
