Could you provide information about your system? And perhaps details about the file(s) that keep crashing. Perhaps they're very large? I just used tried it a few times, and it's not crashing for me. I'm on a Mac, High Sierra, with 16GB RAM.

This looks like a Graphics Driver crash. Can you try updating your graphics driver directly from AMD or NVIDIA and try again? 

If that doesn't help, It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help > System Info... and copy/paste the text in a reply.

This is happening to me, too. 2018 MacBook Pro, High Sierra, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i9, 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB - Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

I think I figured out what was the problem. Under Performance > Graphic Processor > Advanced > Drawing Mode was set to Advanced. I set it to Basic instead and it's working. Thanks to all of

This should be fixed in the next release of Photoshop.

This should now be fixed in the Photoshop 20.0.3 release.
Feel free to update Photoshop and let us know if this is resolved for you.

To update Photoshop CC to 20.0.3, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop CC.

I'm still having this problem, even after the update. My computer is a late 2013 macbook pro. I'm wondering if it's just too old to handle the intensity of the perspective feature?

I don't think it can be the computer. My Adobe Creative Cloud app is fatally broken on both my computers since it updated automatically, so I don't have the latest update installed, but the fix was for an earlier bug, and Perspective Warp has always been fine here on the same MBP. Maybe the OS? I'm still running High Sierra on it, not Mojave.

Exactly why I'm not on Mojave. So far, all I read here are problems Mojave users are having with PS. I don't know if that would be me, too, but as long as I don't have to take that chance. . . <sigh>

Thanks for testing it out.

Looks like this wasn't fixed in the 20.0.3 release after all. My apologies for jumping the gun on this one. 
It should be fixed in the next Photoshop release.

Has anyone solved this issue yet? Tried changing setting in Performance -> Drawing Mode to Basic as suggested above, but no fix. Instant crash as soon as Perspective Warp Selected

This should now be fixed in the Photoshop 20.0.4 release.
Feel free to update Photoshop and let us know if this is resolved for you.

To update Photoshop CC to 20.0.4, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop CC.

I wasnt having issues until this latest update.  the perspective tool is incredibly slow.  its got severe lag in dragging the box to size, and then after anchoring the points its even slower in dragging the corners to their new position.  ive gone through all the preference changes and nothing has made a difference.  i didnt have any issues with this tool before the update.
