When i open many files , be it 1 PSD and 2 JPG etc, sometimes i minimize those little files (References) and keep the PSD open to work with better view etc.
HOWEVER, NOW with CC2018, if i press CTRL+Tab to bring up the files like before, they won't pop up!!..And if i go File->Recently Open->such files, they pop up like the last time i've edited 'em etc...
Please fix that...

This was an intentional change to match the behavior behavior of other CC apps (Illustrator/InDesign)

No they didn't and I can't understand how that is possible one of such helpful feature still doesn't work. This is reason I didn't use CC 2018 and now CC 2019. I stay in CS6 EXTENDED until one day I hope they fix finally this bug!
btw I can't find your other forum name. The login to that forum I guess should be the same you have to Creative Cloud, or maybe even here. Can you send me a message as I found workaround for the above problem using my programming skills: Kukurykus
That works however I want Adobe to respect us and do it on their own finally...

This reminds one of when adobe tried to tell us users the Esc key wasn't working right in photoshop because other adobe apps chose to completely ignore the dictionary definition of Esc and say Esc actually means Apply.

Anyway if that was taken off, plese tell me how I can then access my minimised (NOT OPENED AS TABS) documents, without some workarounds by choosing each one using mouse only? I mean now with a mouse I had to each time go to 'File / Open Recent' (or to 'Window') to select some image from down of menu, or else still by mouse by hovering first over Photoshop icon on Windows Down Bar to click certain image.
If now (in CC 2018) I work each day with 500 photographies and often have to access my desktop I lose much time and energy as well as doing those repetetive moves/clicks with mouse instead of just using Ctrl (Shift) Tab 'keyboard shorcut.
So please tell me what is alternative for this change, as I understand there must be some?

I'm a long time, loyal customer and rely on specific workflows for my professional work. This should not have been removed entirely.
Now to switch to an older version. Then later give my money to whoever makes an extension for it , because I need it back! Please, please make it an option you can switch on and off... :(

I agree that delays a workflow when you often work on plenty of minimized documents. It may be even 6 - 7 minutes per hour, so loss of nearly full hour during regular 8 hours work day! That's not everything. This is very unconvenient to access minimised documents by the way that needs few more moves / clicks for each of them :(
As before CC 2018 we could use it for years that was well worked out method to speed up what we do in Photoshop every day, now there's only flustration about beeing unable to use newest release but still some of previous one because of just small difference :(
