Photoshop CC 2017 won't finish saving and hangs at 10%

My photoshop suddenly stopped saving my files today.  I use it with Lightroom and have never had an issue before yesterday.  After I do my edits, and try to save it, it hangs at 10% and won't go any further.  I've tried restarting, updating CC, installing the newest OS, changing my preferences to reset preferences at quit (which worked one time and then it's not working again).

I have two sessions due and I can't get anything done.  It's incredibly frustrating.  Any help would be so appreciated.

Also worth noting importing my photos suddenly took FOREVER yesterday.  139 photos took over 12 hours and it's normally a few minutes.

I also had a CC update a few days ago, but have not downloaded any files from my card/camera since, so cannot speak to the current changes. I also process mine through Bridge to Photoshop and rarely use my Lightroom. That said, I know there is much I cannot speak to in your current process and frustrations, but I have had a few times myself where I had changed a setting and did not realize it. I see that you have reset and checked many settings in Photoshop & Lightroom. Did you check to make sure that you did not change any settings in your camera (such as previously downloading JPG files vs. now RAW files would be a huge time difference). I doubt you would miss that one, though, and even so there is no way it should take 12 hours. So... if you have not made any changes and it coincided with a CC update, I would recommend calling Adobe. Unfortunately their hours are Mon-Fri, but this page has the calling information: . They can be quite helpful in the right circumstance.

Also, a few questions:
 – Were you having the slow issues before updating the CC software?
 – Which software did you update? All would need to be updated at the same time in case undates to one affect the others. ie: Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, Camera Raw...
 – Are you processing RAW files? If so, do you convert them to DNG files at download?
 – Have you tried using Bridge to Photoshop  instead of Lightroom to Photoshop? (In case there is a bug in the new Lightroom and since you are on a tight schedule for the present time.)
 – Have you made sure that your scratch file designation area is not too full to process freely? (If your computer, scratch drive or area, or relevant areas involved in the process has/have become filled to the point that Photoshop does not have enough free processing space, it will behave like you are describing - and this could appear suddenly if you just reached that point since the last time you used it.)

Howdy Jamie,

Are you still having this problem?  How much free hard drive space do you have?  Are you using a separate scratch drive?  How many files do you have open at the same time?  And (yes, this sounds dumb, but it's a thing) do you have pending updates (particularly OS updates) to install?
