Photoshop CC 2017 & macOS Sierra on Late 2012 27" iMac

After updating my late-2012 27" iMac to macOS Sierra Photoshop 2017 has been running very slow, beach-balling, and generally lagging behind on every action and tool. I use type a lot in Photoshop and notice it in particular there—setting type, resizing, font menu drop down/changing fonts, etc. It's to the point where it's basically unusable. I've already used all the Adobe tools to complete remove all CC Apps, the Creative Cloud app and miscellaneous files and preferences and re-installed but the issues persist. The other Adobe apps I use regularly (Illustrator & InDesign) seem fine. Can anyone help me?

This has been a problem for awhile.  I found that when I moved pictures from the organizer to the editor there were problems as you described.  If though, after I moved the pictures to the editor, I then shut down the organizer it worked well.  Net .. you can't have both the organizer and editor open at the same time or there are problems ..... not the ideal solution but it works.
