If you create a new Admin user account and run from that user, does everything launch OK? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-trouble-shooting-steps.html#permissions

I had same problem. No Lavasoft software. However I had lots of Lavasoft .dll pups hidden in never  land. Downloaded Adv cleaner and it found 147 instances of add ware. Many was Lavasoft. Ran cleaner and now my PS2017 in running perfect.

thank you SO MUCH, Charles! I found ADWCleaner  https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ and it fixed my pc! In my case it was the AVG toolbar and its friends which proved to be the problem. The first time I ran the program, it encountered an error during the cleanup. I restarted my pc, checked my most used software, which all still worked, ran the ADWCleaner again, and it completed successfully.

Both Photoshop CC 2017 AND Dreamweaver CC 2017 are now working for me! Hip Hip Hooray, and thank you SO MUCH

Great. I cannot understand why these hidden adware .dlls and other adware  did not bother PS2015 but totally destroys PS2017. Adobe please respond.

I have the same problem. Photoshop 2017 stopped working in Windows 10. It just hangs after the splash screen and the program interface appears.

Lavasoft .dlls are hidden and you will not see them. Do try the ADWCleaner. Its free and no adware is in program. Its is worth a try.

So disgusted...Photoshop CC2017 will not work with my Windows 10 upgrade...the program opens up and then it states that program has stopped working. I see a lot of people are having the same problem.
