Photoshop CC 2017 crashes multiple times a day

I am currently doing the 7 day trial of PS CC, I was/am using PS CS2. At the moment CC is crashing multiple times each day. I have a computer that is less than 12 months old and has ample ram, gig and processing to handle it. I could be right in the middle of a command and the program just freezes, then the message comes up that PS has encountered a problem and has to shut down. So far I cannot see the benefit in upgrading, as I was hoping to avoid the issue of crashing. Is anyone experiencing these issues with the latest update of CC?

How very frustrating. I'm using 2017 every day, most of the day, and can't remember the last time I crashed. I'm not hearing others talk about that, either. I trust you didn't allow the installer to even attempt to use your current Preferences from CS2, did you? If so, definitely delete your preferences on launching CC and start fresh.

If you could post a copy of your System Info (Help > System Info. . . ) someone here from Adobe could probably help you. It could be that your video card is a problem. Or a corrupt install. Any number of things. Crashing that much is not normal.
