Photoshop CC 2017.1.6 won't install on OS X Yosemite (10.10.5).

I have previous 2017.1.5 update installed fine on this system, until I tried to install the latest update, it gets about 6% through the install then I get a generic installation failure dialog.

Clicking more information reveals:

===
Exit Code: 190
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
 - 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 0 warnings(s)

FATAL: Sanity check for installation failed. Current OS version 10.10.5 doesn't satisfy OS requirements.
FATAL: Error occurred in install product workflow with error code 190 error message
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like a bug in the OS checking in 2017.1.6

Paul.

How do you know if anything posted here gets recorded as a bug?

Are Adobe staff reading this?

Yes, this is the feedback forum for bugs. You are talking about an old version, however. Even if this would get recorded as a bug, it would not get fixed anymore, because we’re at CC2018 now.

This makes no sense.

If Adobe have released an update on this branch then clearly they are supporting it, even in a minimal way.

It is, as far as I can see, a bug fix only branch.
