Hi Friends,

I would be glad and thankful if someone can help on this issue.

" There was an error opening your printer. Print functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents"

After receiving this pop up message and cancel it because that is all we can do, the "Print button" is deemed. we can not try to print again.

The printers are working fine on all other applications, it was working also on photoshop cs6, now with the new CC 2015, I can not print my work, it is very frustrating.
I do not believe that it is an driver issue, because i have installed new drivers and problem remain the same.

"Windows 10"

Thank you very much for your time,

Kind regards.

Your printer driver has a serious problem, and needs to be updated, reinstalled, or otherwise replaced with a version that works correctly.

Other applications you tested may not be using the newer print APIs that Photoshop uses.

And every time we have investigated this issue, it has turned out to be a bug in the printer driver.

Thank you for your time and attention,

I do believe that you are right that the problem is with the print driver, but I have installed the last drivers available from hp, and that do not solved the problem and we have many printers on the network and I can find none when printing with Photoshop 2015. if the problem remain even with the new drivers available from a giant printer maker as HP, and Adobe can not help too.
What can a mortal man like me do? other than wait for a solution that may not come.

I do understand that maybe this topic is becoming a bit boring; of one thing I am sure, I am not alone with this problem, that is not a comfort for me but a hope that someday the outcry will be heard.

Thanks friend.

Yes, quite a few people are having problems with buggy printer drivers. (just different drivers and slightly different bugs)

None of your printers show up after the error? That is odd. Though if all of them use the same driver, and that driver fails - that could explain it.
